What To Expect

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Free Market Tour

Upon arrival at Aswan Airport or the train station, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our tour representative.

Transfer to your luxury Nile cruise and check in at 11:00 AM.

Enjoy lunch on board while relaxing and settling into your cabin.

Afternoon guided tour to:

Aswan High Dam – an engineering marvel constructed between 1960 and 1970, which tamed the Nile and changed Egypt’s future.

Unfinished Obelisk – the largest ancient obelisk ever discovered, offering insights into ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques.

Return to the cruise for dinner on board.

In the evening, enjoy a free walking tour in Aswan’s vibrant local market (statistical market) for souvenirs and cultural interaction.

Overnight in Aswan.

Day 2: Abu Simbel Excursion – Sail to Edfu

Early morning departure (boxed breakfast provided) for a group tour to Abu Simbel Temples.

Visit the majestic rock-cut temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari, built in the 13th century BC and relocated to prevent submersion by Lake Nasser.

Return to the cruise for lunch.

Start sailing north along the Nile to Edfu.

Dinner and overnight on board while enjoying scenic Nile views.

Day 3: Edfu Temple – Sail to Luxor via Esna Lock

After breakfast, take a horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu.

One of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon god Horus.

Return to the boat and continue sailing toward Luxor.

Pass through the Esna Lock, a fascinating experience as your ship navigates through the lock system.

Enjoy dinner on board and an overnight stay as the cruise approaches Luxor.

Day 4: West & East Bank of Luxor – Valley of the Kings, Karnak & Luxor Temples

Breakfast on board followed by a full-day tour of Luxor’s East and West Banks:

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Ride – Banana Island – Sail Back to Aswan

Early morning hot air balloon ride (optional) over Luxor’s West Bank.

Return to the cruise for breakfast.

Take a short trip by boat to Banana Island, known for its lush plantations, serene ambiance, and traditional hospitality.
