Full-day journey through the heart of Aswan’s natural beauty and ancient heritage. We begin with a serene boat ride to the Aswan Botanical Garden, located on Kitchener’s Island. As your guide, I’ll walk you through a lush paradise filled with exotic plants from around the world, where the scent of hibiscus and frangipani fills the air. This green haven is a peaceful escape surrounded by the Nile’s sparkling waters.
Next, we’ll visit Elephantine Island, a site steeped in history and mystery. We’ll explore the ruins of the ancient Abu Temple, wander through the traditional Nubian villages, and hear tales of the Nilometer and its ancient role in measuring the river’s floods.
After a relaxed lunch break, we sail toward Kalabsha Temple, located near the High Dam. This marvel of Nubian architecture, relocated stone by stone, stands proudly overlooking Lake Nasser. Here, we’ll explore beautifully preserved carvings and learn about the Temple’s dedication to the god Mandulis.
This tour offers a harmonious blend of nature, history, and culture—an experience to remember under the warm southern Egyptian sun.
